Welcome to Building Bridges in Children’s Health, an online community website (the “Site”), and thank you for reviewing the BBCH Terms of Use & Privacy Policy. This Site is operated by BUILDING BRIDGES IN CHILDREN’S HEALTH LLC (“BBCH”) and designed to offer recorded lectures and slideshows, access to live teleconference meetings, a discussion forum, and other resources to online users (the "Service"). This Terms of Use Statement informs you of our practices with respect to operating this Service and the use of information and content you provide to BBCH.

Becoming a Member
In order to use this Service, you must become a BBCH Community Member (the “Member”) by: a) creating your personal BBCH account and b) submitting your membership subscription payment. At the account registration page, you are asked to upload an image, enter your name, select your login username & password, provide your e-mail, choose an email notification option, and agree to the BBCH Terms of Use. Upon registering your account, you are asked to submit the required payment to activate your membership subscription. The use of a single account by multiple users is prohibited and may result in account termination without refund.

Service Renewal & Cancellation Policy
BBCH subscription will renew automatically and charge Member until Member cancels further renewals BEFORE the renewal date. Cancellation or non-payment for the renewal of the Service will deactivate Member’s account on the date the renewal is due and prevent Member from accessing the Service from then on. Upon deactivation, any content posted from Member’s account will remain on the Site at the discretion of BBCH.  

Refund Policy 
BBCH Membership fee (including the recurring renewal fee) is non-refundable.

Password Reset Policy
Members are advised to remember or keep their BBCH username and password safely.  BBCH Service is not automated to reset lost passwords for Members' accounts. Losing username and /or password may result in permanent loss of access to the BBCH account.  Please contact BBCH for help with password reset.

Forum Participation Policy
1) Do not solicit personal medical advice nor give such advice.
2) Do not judge or criticize other members of the BBCH community.
3) Do not solicit advice from the BBCH community on how to convince another family to follow your health care choices.
4) Do not agitate the BBCH community with medical propaganda, denigration of any parenting or health care styles, propagation of hate speech, profanity, or spam.
5) Do not market your business, affiliate links, or any commercial products to the BBCH community.    

BBCH reserves the right to delete or redact Member-generated content, restrict or remove Member’s access to any or all parts of the Service, or deactivate Member’s account without refund if Member continuously violates the above guidelines.

Authorized Use of This Website
The content provided on this website is the intellectual property of BBCH LLC, unless otherwise specified as third party content, and includes but is not limited to video, sound, information, articles, documents, logos, graphics, images, and software (“Content”).  Except when agreed in writing, Content on this website may not be downloaded, copied, republished, or mirrored.  You agree to immediately delete or discard any unauthorized Content in your possession. Except where expressly allowed herein by BBCH, nothing on this Website shall be construed to confer any license or sale of BBCH’s or any third party’s intellectual property rights.  You acknowledge sole responsibility for obtaining any such licensure rights through the appropriate channels.

This Website may contain offsite links.  BBCH is not responsible for and does not specifically endorse or accept any responsibility for the content or use of these third party websites. BBCH provides these links as a convenience only, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by BBCH.  It is your responsibility to take precautions to ensure that whatever you select for your use is suitable for your needs and free of viruses or other harmful items.

User Submissions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, by submitting, posting, uploading, sharing or otherwise making available any text, post, contribution, or providing any other content (“User Content”) to BBCH, and in consideration for the publication of any such User Content by BBCH, and without compensation to you, you hereby agree that such User Content will become the property of BBCH, and you hereby grant to BBCH, a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, unrestricted, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, republish, distribute, prepare all foreign language translations and other derivative works, transmit, publicly display, and perform such User Content, in whole or in part, alone or in compilations, without the need to attribute authorship, and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, format, media or technology, and by any method, device or process, now known or later developed.  Without limiting the preceding sentence, you further grant and authorize BBCH, the right to sell, license, sublicense, transfer, or assign the rights granted herein through multiple tiers of sublicenses to any party. By submitting your User Content, you represent and warrant that this User Content is your original work, or that you have the right, authority and license to grant BBCH the licenses, rights, and authorizations afforded by this Agreement without the consent or authorization of any other person or entity. You further represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate, infringe or misappropriate the Copyright, Trademark, or any other personal, property or intellectual property right of any person or entity, including, without limitation, the trade secret, patent, right of publicity, right of privacy or any other right of any person or entity. Except where expressly provided otherwise by BBCH, all video, comments, feedback, information or content submitted to BBCH through or in association with this Website (“Submissions”) shall be considered non-confidential, and BBCH shall be free to use such Submissions on an unrestricted basis or as provided by an agreement with BBCH.  You acknowledge that you are responsible for your Submissions’ copyright and legal compliance, as well as reliability and appropriateness.  BBCH respects fair use. BBCH may, but is not obligated to, monitor areas on the Website where users post communications.  To the fullest extent of the law, BBCH will not be liable for the content of such communications, whether or not arising under the laws of copyright, libel, privacy, or otherwise.

Legal Compliance
It is your responsibility to use this Website solely for lawful purposes. In this respect you may not, without limitation (a) intercept or monitor any equipment that is not yours; (b) use any type of spider, virus, worm, trojan-horse, time bomb or any other codes or instructions that are designed to distort, damage, unreasonably delete or disassemble Content or software; (c) cause or intend to cause unfair embarrassment or distress to, or to unfairly threaten, harass, or harm anyone. BBCH LLC operates this Website from Seattle, WA and makes no representation that the Content is available for use outside the United States of America.  If you access this site from another location, it is by your own initiative and it is your responsibility to comply with the laws of your jurisdiction, as well as any applicable import/export laws. These Terms of Use shall be interpreted and governed by Washington State law, and jurisdiction of any action arising out of or relating to these terms shall be set in King County.

BBCH respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects others to do the same.  BBCH may, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, terminate the access of users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your work has been copied and is accessible at this Website in a way that constitutes intellectual property infringement, or that this Website contains links or other references to another online location that contains material or activity that infringes your intellectual property, please notify BBCH in writing at BBCHcares@gmail.com.

Updates and Amendments
BBCH may make improvements and/or changes to the Content on this Website, and these Terms of Use, at any time and without notice. 


PRIVACY POLICY

At BBCH, your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy applies to the Website and Service offered by BBCH LLC. 

Information Collected and Utilized

1. Personal and Financial Information – When you register or sign up for an account with BBCH, we store the information you provide us, such as your BBCH username and password.  Additionally, BBCH’s designated online payment service providers may accept credit card or financial account information.  You can decline to utilize BBCH’s designated online payment service providers, in which case the Service may not be provided to you.

2. Data – Cookies and server logs help us identify your computer, improve your website navigation experience, and monitor traffic and technical functioning of our network and services. 

3. Communications – BBCH stores written communications submitted to BBCH. 

Information Sharing

4. Certain services may be offered by third parties. Personal information that you provide to those third parties may be provided to BBCH in order to service accounts. We apply this Privacy Policy to our receipt of the information.  Information collected by a third party is governed by their privacy policies. The third party may have different privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

5. In the event we need to use information in a manner different than the purpose for which it is collected, we will ask for your consent prior to such use, and offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of personal information for those other purposes.

6. Only in one of the following limited circumstances will BBCH share your personal information with other companies or individuals outside of BBCH:

• During account registration in order to ensure that a designated third party can process personal information on BBCH’s behalf for account management purposes.
 
• When we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy an applicable law, regulation, legal process (i.e., discovery request) or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of BBCH, its users or the public as required or permitted by law. 

Security and Data Integrity
7. BBCH employs security and verification measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. 

8. BBCH processes personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable service-specific privacy policies.

9. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate and complete, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary. 

10. If BBCH receives a formal complaint, our policy is to contact the complaining party regarding his or her concerns, and where applicable to cooperate with appropriate government authorities to resolve complaints regarding the transfer of personal data.

Privacy of Children
11. BBCH is not directed to children under the age of 13. We operate our Service in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and do not permit registration by, and will not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from anyone under 13 years of age.

Amendments to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time without notice.  Your rights will not be substantially reduced under this Privacy Policy without your consent.
